I've been a practicing kinesiologist and business owner for over 30 years. My favourite clients are​ those ​over​ ​the age of 65 with multiple co-morbidities and chronic autoimmune conditions. In fact, the more complex my clients’ histories and rehabilitation journeys the better!

My clients have ranged from people with liver transplants, heart valve replacements, chronic heart failure, Types I & II diabetes, osteopenia and osteoporosis, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, a wide range of cancers, multiple sclerosis, Danlos
Ehlers Syndrome, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Lupus, Fibromyalgia Syndrome, sleep disorders such as snoring and sleep apnea, asthma, emphysema, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, dementia, Alzheimer's Disease and other conditions.

In 2015 I added therapeutic yoga as an option for my clients’ corrective exercise programs. Smooth movement transitions with a focus inward on breathing and relaxation helped my clients with body awareness. This enhanced awareness allowed them to get in better touch with their health and wellness intuition.

By 2016 I was once again ready to add something new to the mix: holistic nutrition. I saw how it helped to improve my clients’ symptoms of pain, insomnia, fatigue, ADHD, gastroesophageal reflux disease, hernias, hemorrhoids and multiple food allergies and sensitivities. I became a Certified Nutritional Practitioner in 2018.

In 2019, I began learning and exploring Buteyko Breathing techniques as a way of further augmenting my movement and nutrition practices. I am now training to become a Buteyko Breathing Educator and will complete this certification in 2021.

I am the founder of First Line Education where, together with my team, I have been teaching and mentoring movement therapists for over 14 years. We offer courses for kinesiologists in anatomy and physiology, orthopaedic and functional assessment and therapeutic exercise.
