About Me

Experience

Upon graduation in 1997, I began working at various physical rehabilitation facilities in Thunder Bay and as a Rehabilitation Consultant within the Insurance industry. It was also during this time I was introduced to Pilates. I began teaching Pilates in 2012, specializing in therapeutic Pilates. I have recently opened my own studio offering private, one-on-one Pilates sessions.

Professional Bio
It wasn’t until after the birth of my son that I realized how truly beneficial Pilates was. I had developed SI joint dysfunction and was referred for Therapeutic Pilates. I quickly realized that Pilates was not only a great option for overall strengthening, but also an effective form of exercise when recovering from injury and for injury prevention. After this experience, I knew Pilates was going to be part of my life’s journey and I wanted to share this passion with others.
