About Me

Experience

Elizabeth Langfried is a licensed Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario with 20 years of experience. She is currently practicing in a clinical setting in Ottawa and has worked in private clinics and Long Term Care facilities in Toronto, and various hospitals overseas. She continues to pursue training in Rehabilitation to further strengthen her clinical skills.
At an early age, Elizabeth became interested in science and working with people. She likes to discover the root cause of someone’s illness and see them get better and return to their daily activities. She feels blessed to wake up every day knowing that she can make a difference in someone’s life.

Elizabeth treats her patients to restore, maintain and maximize their strength, movement, function, and overall well-being. She provides treatments that emphasize education, exercise therapy, manual therapy, electrotherapy, taping, splinting/bracing, body mechanics, and ergonomics. She believes that prevention is better than cure. It is easier to stop a problem from happening than to stop it after it has started.
