About Me

Experience

I am a duly qualified and registered Occupational Therapist with The College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (G1610327) and the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists. I obtained a Bachelor of Kinesiology and Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology, and a Master of Occupational Therapy from the University of British Columbia. My education in occupational therapy includes courses and training specific to the administration of standardized and functional testing, along with the study of physiology and anatomy, equipment prescription, ergonomics, life care planning, and psycho-emotional, behavioural and cognitive function. I regularly attend courses and seminars to advance my knowledge and skills related to my professional work.

My present caseload includes individuals with mental health injuries and diagnoses, neurodivergent diagnoses (e.g. attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder), as well as individuals who have experienced trauma and have been diagnosed with multiple concurrent mental health disorders, most typically Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Depression and Anxiety.
