About Me

Experience

I have over five years of experience working in the social service sector. I have worked with organized and underserved populations in our society. This experience allowed me to gain critical skills in crisis management and informal counselling. Once I realized that I truly enjoyed getting the opportunity to hear individual stories, I decided to pursue a career in psychotherapy. I completed my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and now I am grateful and blessed to continue to hear your stories on an everyday basis.

I strive to work with individuals in meeting their goals, no matter how small or how big. I work collaboratively with you and do not believe that I am an expert on your life...you are.

I specialize in offering trauma-informed, narrative, and humanistic approaches to my treatment approach. I worked comfortably with many client issues, which include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, work stress, general stress, disordered eating, trauma, family conflict, race trauma, racial identity, identity issues, financial trauma and life transitions.

I look forward to meeting with you!
