About Me

Experience

I have been working in the health and fitness industry for just short of a decade and in that time I have been around the block haha. While studying in school, I worked alongside the wrestling team as their student athletic trainer. During my time their I saw several of the athletes make it to the national stage and one take gold the year I graduated.

After school I spent a few years passing through group fitness studios and never seeing members helped in the ways that they truly needed it. After being frustrated by my limitations as a CSEP personal trainer, I registered to become a kinesiologist and started my own business to fill a gap in the industry.
My specialization is helping current and former competitive athletes with chronic musculoskeletal injuries become resilient to injuries, become pain free, and improve their performance for sport and life!

Professional Bio
My journey to Kinesiology actually starts in engineering!

Before starting school in Kinesiology, I was studying to become a mechanical engineer and while I was competing my co-op experience in Winnipeg working on quality control of F-35 parts I decided to take part in a work baseball league. Well after 6 months of sitting for 8 hours of work, sitting for 8 hours at home and sleeping for the other 8 you can guess I wasn't in the best shape...

During one of the games I rotated too quickly while turning to run for home and my upper body twisted while my lower body didn't and I collapsed to the ground. Luckily I wasn't severely injured beyond struggling to walk and leave the couch for a week and then being able to resume 'normal' life. When I arrived home from the co-op I made the choice to start working with a chiro, physio, and personal training who all helped me become injury resilient and feel confident in my body.

That following summer I quit engineering school and took up Kinesiology to begin my journey helping others become injury resilient and feel the way I did after receiving help to become strong and confident as I move through life.
