About Me
Experience
I have practised as a licensed practical nurse in complex care, dementia care and palliative care for 10 years. Along the way I have completed continuing education on wound care through the Canadian Association of Enterostomal Therapy (now known as Wounds Canada) in 2011, on Advanced Foot Care through the Okanagan College in 2019, and on the prevention and management of diabetic foot ulcers through Wounds Canada in 2020. I completed the Medical Device Reprocessing in Community Health Care Settings plus Foot Care Clinics course through the Canadian Standards Association and opened the M&M ADVANCED FOOTCARE clinic in May 2019.
Professional Bio
I have always loved my job as a nurse. I find foot care very rewarding. My goal is to educate and provide safe, client -centred, professional foot care to the surrounding community.
