Experience

Peter Petropanagos, MScPT, FCAMPT

Founder, Clinic Director, and Registered Physiotherapist Peter is the founder and clinic director of Thrive Physio, where he leads a dedicated team of professionals focused on delivering personalized, high-quality care. With over a decade of experience as a registered physiotherapist, he specializes in rehabilitation, manual therapy, and holistic wellness, using a variety of evidence-based modalities tailored to each patient’s needs.

Having played at an elite level, Peter understands the importance of recovery and performance. After overcoming a knee injury in his senior year of university, he captained his soccer team to their first NCAA national championship. This experience deepened his commitment to helping individuals recover from injuries, restore function, and regain their quality of life, regardless of their athletic background.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Peter holds a Master’s of Science from the University of Toronto and advanced certifications in manual therapy, neurofunctional acupuncture, concussion therapy, and vestibular rehabilitation. He is also a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physiotherapy (FCAMPT), an internationally recognized designation for advanced manual therapy training.

As clinic director, Peter is focused on creating a collaborative and supportive environment, both for patients and the clinic team. He believes in building strong relationships, fostering professional development, and ensuring that each patient receives individualized care to achieve their health and wellness goals.

Outside of his professional work, Peter enjoys spending time with his family, staying active, and continually learning to stay up to date with the latest advancements in physiotherapy and wellness.

At Thrive Physio, the goal is to provide comprehensive care for individuals at all stages of their health journey—from injury prevention and rehabilitation to overall wellness. With Peter at the helm, the clinic is dedicated to providing expert care in a welcoming, supportive environment.
