About Me
Experience
I support physical & mental wellbeing in everyday life!
I encourage movement and mindful lifestyle changes for health promotion, prevention, treatment, and performance. By taking a more client-centred approach to physical activity and exercise prescription, I work with clients to create safe and sustainable exercise programs that are designed for their life's needs. Whether they'd like to be able to go for long walks with loved ones, win a national championship, or improve their mental health, I have experience working with clients with a variety of backgrounds and fitness levels.
As a kinesiologist, I have supported individuals looking to improve their mental health, people who are applying for the Canadian Armed Forces, high-performance athletes, retired service members, and people just looking to make their everyday life more comfortable: being able to walk to the mailbox or go up and down stairs for laundry without getting winded, or enjoy local trails with loved ones in the summer.
I have a particular interest in mental health support and supporting Veterans (both active service and retired), as well as supporting people in improving the comfort and ease of living their day-to-day lives (functional movements, activities of daily living). I have experience as a support coordinator for youth who have mental health and substance use issues, in disability case management supporting Veterans through the disability claims process with Veterans Affairs Canada, and as a programs manager for a national patient organization where I manage the programming of educational health resources and research reports.
Online consultations and training programs are available to anyone in Canada. In-person/in-home services are available for those in Frankford, Belleville, Trenton, Quinte West, Carrying Place, Brighton, and Stirling.
