About Me
Experience
Too often we believe that our downfalls define us, rather than guide us and illuminate a path of learning and becoming. We feel alone as we mask our imperfections to morph into a world we believe rewards otherwise. Yet, in our loneliness lives an unspoken unity because we each carry the weight of our mask.
With a restless passion for understanding the human mind and the human condition, I believe that we can unveil layers to truly see our own power, and ultimately, our why.
Being whole again, or even for the first time, is more attainable than it seems in the face of hardship. No individual is one-dimensional, and in that respect I believe a combination of modalities and approaches must be customized to each unique client, couple, or family.
I feel humbled to serve in several areas such as depression, stress management, anxiety, burn-out, self awareness and improvement, boundary setting, and the thoughts you carry that may not have a voice yet. Using a multitude of approaches planted in strength-based therapies, I practice Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy (NT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and more to aid my clients in reaching their objectives.
My approach is deeply rooted in transparency and client-therapist collaboration, as I respect that nobody knows us better than ourselves. My clear and honest approach is one that clients find of value, especially in times of challenge and confusion. I feel humbled to listen and truly hear you.
Remember, just because you carry it well, does not mean the weight is not heavy.
I am currently a student intern working towards my Master’s of Arts Degree in Counselling at Yorkville University.
